“Bringing Children and Books Together”
Patricia Franz writes picture books and poetry. She believes children, dogs, and sourdough have a lot to teach us about life, joy, and wonder. She has raised two boys, four dogs, and holds a master’s degree in Theology with a focus on children’s spirituality. Patricia, her husband, her Bernese Mountain dog, Bonny, and her sourdough starter split their time between the Arizona desert and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Patricia, that is a very cool video and I must have missed the info from Janet and Sylvia how to make such a high-quality object–or is this something YOU know how to do and can teach me? You definitely need to repost next Friday for all to see!
Thank you, Heidi. Sylvia taught us how to make these on CANVA – and I’m happy to show you how I did it. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
This is beautiful. Like Heidi, I’d love to know how to do this. What I’d like to do is have my students make one. Do you think that is doable? Your poem is a great exemplar for them. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Margaret. I’m happy to share how I did it. I think it would be super fun to put together a class video. Let me know if you want to connect and I can show you.
