Thinking of Spring

I have not crafted a haiku since the end of National Poetry Month! This week I was sidelined by COVID. So instead of heading into the forest in search of spring, I wonder-walked from my living room window.

My High Sierra salad garden seeds and starter plants arrive tomorrow!

It’s not lost on me that it’s been a year of growth.

Earth Day

Canyon lands, ocean

reefs, forests, streams, air we breathe

take care of me please
